Micky is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist in Massachusetts. She earned her Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS),
and she is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Micky was born in Guangzhou which is a vibrant southern city in China, and she grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of Cantonese culture. One of Cantonese traditions is making slow-cooked soups every week. The ingredients of the soup can mix with meat, vegetables and Chinese herbs simmering gently for hours. These soups are not only healthy and delicious but also deeply
rooted in the same principles that guide her healing practice – nourishment, balance and care. Micky jokes that she has been immersed in Chinese herbs since she was a fetus.
In her practice, Micky specializes in creating personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She combines acupuncture with a
range of healing techniques, including Gua Sha, moxibustion (moxa), cupping therapy, Chinese herbal medicine and dietary recommendations based on
Traditional Chinese medicine. Her areas of focus include pain management, stress-related conditions, digestive health, women's health and overall wellness.
